Solution 1 Car >Car Parking Florence > Tram to center
A good solution is to park you car at "Villa Costanza" parking just outside the A1 highway and then from there you have the shuttle/tram every 6/8 minutes for reaching the centre of Florence (approx 20 minutes)

Solution 2 Car > Car Parking Montevarchi> Train to Florence
A good alternative is to go by car up to Montevarchi railway station, park the car on the back of the railway station at free car parking "Piazzale Sugherella" in Via Sugherella - Montevarchi and take a train from Montevarchi to Florence Santa Maria Novella (there is a train every 20/30 minutes, the journey is approx 20/30 minutes and the ticket costs approx. 9€/person).
Solution 3 Car > Car Parking "San Lorenzo" in Florence
If you don't mind to drive in Florence, you can also park the car at "San Lorenzo" car parking: the parking is just under "San Lorenzo" Central Market.
Above the market you can also have a nice lunch and/or dinner tasting typical Tuscan food.
